Generally, there are two kinds of faults in gears, i.e. difficulty in shifting gears and failure to shift gears. The causes of these two phenomena are directly related to the clutch, shift lever and shift fork shaft. For example, the clutch cannot be separated clearly, so it only needs to adjust the clutch. As for the shift lever, either the joint with the pull rod is not in place, and the shift fork cannot be shifted in place, That is, the shift lever is separated from the pin shaft. In this case, it is necessary to adjust the relative position of the two to make the shift fork in place, or connect the shift lever with the pin shaft.

 

Finally, take a look at the shift fork shaft. If you see that the shift fork shaft is short or over positioned, the spring force is too large, the spring is bent and deformed, or the pin is stuck and broken in the axial movement, just replace the shift fork shaft at this time.

 

The reason why tricycles are out of gear is often encountered by users, especially for vehicles pulling heavy goods. The phenomenon of out of gear is that the spring force of the shift fork is insufficient, or the positioning groove is worn, or the bending is worn, and the gear meshing is insufficient. At this time, it is best to correct and replace the shift fork shaft. Another common phenomenon is that the mode of the gear meshing end is conical or the shaft is bent, The gear or shaft needs to be replaced. Some customers can't shift the gear in place. At this time, it's still necessary to adjust the gear or shift fork shaft stroke and the fixed position of the shift fork.
